Climate-Smart Agropreneurship Education for Livelihood and Sustainability in Eastern and Southern Africa (AgrGROW)

Since April 2023, SAAS has been coordinating the AgrGROW project at Bugema University, funded by the European Union with a total value of EUR 2.0 million. Running until March 2026, the project aims to mainstream climate-smart agropreneurship into education to enhance livelihoods and promote sustainability across the Eastern and Southern Africa region. Bugema University’s role is central to coordinating institutional activities, developing training modules, and building partnerships. Students and faculty are directly engaged in climate-smart practices, benefiting from collaborative exchanges and cross-border learning that strengthen resilience in agriculture.
